I think kids should be put to school by 3 years of age. They adapt very well and love the company of other kids and also learn lovely things in the process. you are often amazed at the ability of your child to come up with stuff.

I think the best age for preschool is about 4 or may be 3. It depends on a child, how well it speaks and so on.

I started going to school at the age of four. I think that four is a good age to start in preschool. But you can enroll him already at the age of three. It still depends on the child though. If he's the one asking for you to get him/her enrolled, then that'd be great. But if not, I think that four is probably the best age to start.

You can send kids on pre-school at the age of three, so they can easily learn how to interact to other kids.

It is not necessary that you should admit after 3 or at the age of 3 but if you really want your child to be active then i think even parents can give them a training before joining the preschool..

I am planning on enrolling my 3 year old son. Kids nowadays have a quick mind, they learn things very quickly and they have a very good memory. I think as early as 3 they should learn how to use their intellectual capacity, they should be guided all through out that learning things is a fun way.

I think it really depends on the child. Kids develop at different rates. One three year old may be way more mature and prepared for school than the next. I think as a parent you know your child best. So don't let anyone else tell you what to do. But as others have said preschool is great for kids once they adapt to it.

Pre-schools can be fun for even kids below 2. For example my older one went to daycare when he was 18 months and preschool when he was 2. My younger one started going to a preschool when he was 2. It really depends on what you are looking for in a playschool. Instead of emphasising on learning their ABC's and 123's it could be treated more like a place where children meet other children, play and have fun. In the latter case the children can start going to a playschool when they are as young as 1 1/2 years. It is good keep them busy and occupied and some playschools just do that. Our intention of sending them to a preschool was for them to develop their social skills, meet other children of their age and primarily have fun.

I also think 3-4 yrs of age is the best time to start learning new things and a great time for mixing

The right time for preschool is the fourth year of the child. In the third year of life children are still small and should be with their parents.

I think "Preschool" means, A little children to provides a education for the optimal development. It don't means formal teaching from text books. And best age for children to starting a preschool is 3 years.

Yes, I Agree with kelvineendru. Teach them basic things. for example start basic math like numbers. That would help them to build a basic knowledge on math.

I put my two preschool daughters, both at the age of 4 years. My oldest son had no problems with it. My son cried and cried and it broke my heart but now it is easier after the first week. I'm glad I elected to his post in early childhood education because I do not want her to feel that way for kindergarten. I also wanted to stay home as long as possible, because once you start his 12 years of school, but my husband wanted to leave.

It depends on your situation. My cousin's wife enrolled their daughter in preschool, having little interaction with other children not in kindergarten. Therefore, she attended preschool at 3 years, twice a week. At age 4, was in a slightly more formal program that was three times a week.

Today the kids are very intelligent and in short age the growth well. I think the best age for preschool is about 3 years. And also the preschool age depends on child, how well it speaks and its working activity.

According to me the right age for preschool is about to 3 to 4 years. Kids can easily understand what they learnt by others and that is the perfect age from where the kids are maturity stage.

Well, As per my point of view the right age of preschool is 3-4 years. This age is ideal as kids are needed to taught a basic lessons. In preschools teachers are always taught the kids as per the maturity of the kids and also cognitive development.
