Flash drive not working with new computer

    Hi

Brand new computer with windows XP home. none of my flash drives work with them. They get detected, but I get:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

where do I get drivers for USB drives? I popped in my XP CD and I don't see them on there.

    Thanks

The driver for your USB should come with your Motherboard Cd. Just put the CD in your computer, it will normally display a menu for you with a lists of drivers. The USB driver should be there too.

    Good luck

If it does not been detected on your computer flash drive, you can have several reasons.First, your computer is not able to provide your flash drive drivers. Now, your information, you do not need to install any drivers other than, if you are using a Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP or Windows Vista, because they are native support for these devices.

The best and the easiest way to search for USB drivers is to search for it online. If you know that what motherboard you are using, you can easily download all latest drivers like for sound, video, even USB. This will definitely help you to start using your flash drive.
