This is a post that I have made at another forum trying to explain what Cloud Hosting was.
I think that "Cloud Hosting" has been around for a long time. I have noticed that lately "Cloud Hosting" started to create a lot of buzz. If this is your first time hearing about "Cloud Hosting" be assured that you may have used yourself few times without knowing it.
Take the example of Google. They have been working so hard on promoting the idea of cloud hosting for a long time. They also talk a lot about cloud computing which is, I think, the user side of cloud hosting.
As you may know Google searches and operations are managed under a huge computer infrastructure, this is why they call "Cloud" so when Google viewers click the search button on their home computer they information gets retrieved from server under a "cloud hosting".
In other words a website, blog, forum, e-commerce site or any internet site that is hosted under a cloud hosting package means that the website is operating on different servers connected all together. By doing so you have the ability to ad as many servers as you need without limiting your capabilities.
