I joined the White house' mailing list few months ago, and I receive emails fro the white house almost everyday :)
At first I did not care about opening them then. Last week i started reading each and everyone of them.
Most of the emails if not all have some great Information in them, and I advice you all to check out the White House's website. It's full of excellent information.
