If its regarding the alternative then there are already two to three options available. Firstly PS, secondly PC and thirdly WII-U console. Other than that Xbox-720 is going to be launched by the next year.

According to my point of view play station 3 console is a one of the best alternative for xbox 360. Currently PlayStation 3's demand is so high compare to Xbox 360. i also like to play game on play station 3 console.
