How Often Do You Change Bath Towels?

So, how often do you change your bath towel? I remember the Dilbert cartoon where the one guy never changes his bath towel because, theoretically, it should be the cleanest item in his house.

I was recently visiting a couple who had a disagreement on the matter. The husband felt that you should use a towel for a week. The wife thought that rather disgusting and felt that a new towel for each bath/shower is called for.

Personally, I use a new towel each time. On the other hand, my SO uses a new towel whenever I replace hers (I am the one who usually does the laundry).

I used a towel for 2-3 days. I might go for a week of dry air, or when it is only two days of damp. Longer period of time, they can develop mold, I want a new towel before that happens. A new towel every day seems a bit wasteful to me, so I think that the unnecessary work.

I also use for 2 or 3 days , i have two towels when one is gone for laundary i used the other , i just put it under sunlight after shower

I change them every other day and I have separate towels for all members of my family as well as separate towels for face and for legs :)

I change my towel after 2 days and I have different towel to wash my hair because hairs has more dust and dirty and never applied to the other parts of the bodies.

I change them every day and wash them. I have 2 towels every day, separate for hair and body. I use another for face. I dry the hair towel under sunlight and use it for 2-3 washes.

I typically rotate between 3 towels and at the end of the week all 3 get washed. I started accomplishing this on deployments because sometimes my towel wouldn't dry fully by the next morning. A new towel every day seems a bit wasteful to me, so I think that the unnecessary work.

Hi ! I have totally 2 towels with me and daily after bathing i am giving it to for wash and next day i am using new one. So it's rotating and have one towels for 3 days in a week.

Towels every day and washcloth or flannel as I call it lol, every few days. Always use a clean towel for every shower, you have to dry your nethers so for hygiene reasons a clean one every time is best, you don't want to get all ar'se about face.

It's good to replace your towel every 2 or 3 days, and also use different towels for your hair and body.

The best habit is to change the towel every time but it is usually not possible so after each shower it must be put outside drying in the sun.
